Working for a world renowned manufacturer based in Ashford, Kent. This post is initially for 6 - 12 months and there is the possibility of a permanent post.

The role is to manage a dedicated raw material portfolio, and to manage communication with buyers, suppliers and and other sites.

You will plan and place orders, ensuring the appropriate stock levels to meet the service requirements and financial targets. You will work with procurement on supplier performance and minimise material shortfalls.

Working to operation budgets, you will manage the inbound logistics and look for and implement improvements.

The successful applicant will have analytical and numerical skills, be familiar with Access and Excel, have the ability to take ownership of the role, and work well under pressure.
